Earth Day Pinwheels using a template from
DLTK kids, new pencils, and a straight pin.
Paper Bag Narratives - Students decorated the bag to look like themselves. They wrote a narrative as if they were the paper bag who did not want to be thrown in the garbage. They had to come up with alternate uses for paper bags.
The writings were then glued onto the backs of their bags. Some got very creative and even turned their writing into persuasive writing begging not to be thrown into the garbage.
